Are meals included?

Yes, all meals and snacks are included in your monthly lease. You will be delighted to find that we have a large kitchen staff led by our talented Red Seal Chefs. Our teams strive to maintain the highest standard of food service and hospitality. Individual dietary requirements are accommodated and special requests are always welcome.

How will I keep busy at Masterpiece?

Whether you want to pursue new interests or enjoy lifelong pastimes, each Masterpiece residence has an activity department that organizes creative, physical, social and mental programs that are designed to keep you active and involved. Enjoy the freedom to participate in as many or as few activities as you desire.

What about rent increases? When will they take place and by how much will they increase?

Your tenancy agreement ensures your rent will not be raised by a factor higher than the annual rate of inflation. Rental amounts are reevaluated annually and increases are communicated fairly.

What qualifications and certifications do Masterpiece employees have?

Masterpiece Care and Hospitality employees have professional qualifications. All of our Care team must have one of the following designations depending on their role - Personal Care Assistant (PCA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN). Our food service manager must be a Red Seal Chef and our kitchen staff must be qualified and trained in food handling.

Is there a Guest Suite?

Yes, each Masterpiece Residence has a beautifully appointed Guest Suite. The Guest Suites are available for rent, allowing your visitors the convenience of remaining closer to you during their stay. Your guests are also welcome to join you for meals in the Masterpiece dinning room for a nominal fee. If you would like to book the Guest Suite or guest meals please contact the building directly.

Are children welcome to visit?

Nothing lights up our day at Masterpiece like a visit from a child. We suggest that you make sure your little visitors get a free ice cream cone in the Bistro when they arrive!

Are we able to have a pet?

Yes, at Masterpiece we understand the importance of your four legged family members. Our pet policy states that the general manager must approve all pets.

Is there a place where I can entertain my family members?

Yes, each community has a Family Entertainment Suite. You are welcome to book it through reception. While there is no fee, it is booked on a first come first served basis. You have several dining options. You can either meet with the chef or arrange your own menu, or you can choose from the existing menu. (There is a small fee for the meals provided). The Family Entertainment Suite has complete cooking facilities so you can prepare your own meal or your family can bring a home cooked meal in. Finally you can choose to have a meal delivered or have an out side caterer. The possibilities are endless. And Yes, you may serve alcohol.

Is there a doctor that comes to the residence?

Residents are encouraged to continue using their family doctor, if you should not have a family physician, Masterpiece staff will work with you and your family to obtain one.

Can we have company stay over in our suite?

Overnight guests are welcome; after all, your suite is your home. Should you find it too crowded, our beautiful Guest Suite can be pre-booked through reception for a small fee. We do require that all guests to the building sign in and out at reception regardless of the duration of their stay so that we know who is in the building in the event of an emergency situation.

What does all-inclusive mean?

At Masterpiece, the term "all inclusive" means that at the end of the month, residents will not receive extra charges for services they did not expect to pay for. Meals, housekeeping, recreation, activities, movies in the theatre and much, more is all included!
